Our community grows out of worship. Though we know it is counter-cultural, we worship together every Sunday. Next, everyone is involved in at least one group in order to train spiritually. We all need to continue to grow in the Lord. Finally, following Jesus means we serve inside the church, outside the church, or maybe even both.
Involvement at Cornerstone means to:
Worship
We gather together corporately to worship God and not ourselves. At Cornerstone, we believe that God is the primary audience for worship. Public worship can easily deteriorate into just another form of entertainment. We believe that what matters most in worship is not what pleases any of us, but what God has said pleases him.

At Cornerstone, we believe that every Christian is called to grow spiritually and be equipped to serve Christ’s kingdom. Growth doesn't happen in isolation—every believer should be part of at least one group where they can both encourage others and be encouraged in their walk with Jesus.

Serve
"If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all"
(Mark 9:35b, ESV)
A disciple of Jesus is someone who learns from and follows him. He did not come to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45). It is our hope that everyone at Cornerstone will serve in at least one area. There is real joy in serving!
We desire for every believer to use the strengths, talents, and gifts God has given in order to serve God's kingdom purposes. There are many informal and formal ways to serve. Click on the button below to explore some of our current opportunities.
